They have excellent templates for project tracking, meetings, strategic planning, etc. Auscomp won't automate anything for you but they have some pretty good templates and they are set up to link pages and sections to each other where it makes sense in the use case. However, you could take a look at Office OneNote Gem, Onetastic, and Auscomp OneNote templates. I've never seen a template that can carry over unfinished tasks automatically. Hi, that sounds like a custom setup, I don't know if you'll find a single template for all of that. In other words, a table of contents to link around your notes and you could easily link back to the table of contents. You can even create a container of links and link to that. When the "Save as Template" window pops up, give it a name and check "Set as default template for new pages in the current section" and every new page you make in that section will have your to-do list link. Lines/Grids, background color, any and all text, pictures, and links, whether or not the title is visible, etc. To save this page as a template go to the View menu and select "Paper Size." At the bottom of the Paper Size pane, click "Save current page as a template." (You can also adjust page size, orientation, etc if you want.) Do note that everything about this page becomes the template. You can then right click the link and click "edit link" to change what text is displayed. You now have a page with a link that will always go back to the to-do list. Next, once the tasks are typed up, click the "." at the top of the container, then right click the same and in the drop down menu click "copy link to paragraph." Basically, when you start typing on a page a container is generated. If, in what your case sounds like, it's a single list of check box tasks, those would all be in one "container" as OneNote calls them.Ī container is nothing but a boxed area (the box is only visible while editing the area) that groups all included items together.
